Ini recorded her first original song & I’m a super proud teacher! 🎶
Storytime:
We started working together in March during the lockdown and had 15 online lessons since, without ever meeting in person.
My role as a teacher was to help her achieve stability and boost her confidence, train the voice, brainstorm words she could use for the lyrics, and finalize the song structure. She picked the chords for the song on her own and also played them herself on an acoustic guitar.
She wrote it for her class at the end of primary school. Her song is all about wishing her classmates all the best in years to come and although they separated and went to different high schools, she will keep them close to heart and is grateful for all the good moments they’ve shared together.
Last week we met for the first time and it was magical. She was brave and stepped up to the microphone like a real pro. 🎤
I edited and mastered the recordings and now she has her very first song.
